A wonderful enclave with expansive views over the surrounding area. Poems by Luis Rosales have been written on some of the stones. Look out for a mailbox dedicated to the poet with a book of his poems inside.

The Senda de los Poetas leaves the Carretera de la República and first passes by the Vicente Aleixandre viewpoint, a striking building of cavalry rocks dedicated to the notable Spanish poet who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1977. The path continues straight on to the Luis Rosales viewpoint, going through a meadow of scattered rocks where verses by various authors appear.

The spectacular natural balcony offers impressive views of Cercedilla and the Guadarrama river valley. Luis Rosales was a prestigious poet from Granada who belonged to the "generation of 36", in which poets such as Miguel Hernández, Gabriel Celaya, Dionisio Ridruejo or Luis Felipe Vivanco coincide. He was awarded the National Poetry Prize in 1951 for his work Rimas and in 1973 he won the Miguel Unamuno National Prize for Literature. An entertaining and unusual activity in the environment is to look among the large blocks of rock for the poetry carved into the smooth surface of the granite on the plain of the Path of the Poets. The children have to find three poems by Luis Rosales, one by Antonio Machado, one by Leopoldo Panero and another short one by J.
