Falkenauel is a small hamlet on the river Irsen.
The place belongs politically to the municipality Daleiden, Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm, Rhineland-Palatinate.
The Irsen forms here the Gemarkungsgrenze to the district Karlshausen.
The mill, which is located on the left bank of the river is therefore not to Daleiden, but to Karlshausen.
