Forty national and international ceramic artists tackled an old retaining wall on the SP176 Castel di Lucio-Mistretta provincial road, a wall approximately one hundred meters long and six meters high, which, when driven alongside, maintained its anonymity. The memory of that abused concrete structure was treated with poetry and love, grafting terracotta, as an element of transmutation, onto the concrete itself. In the Nebrodi area (Santo Stefano di Camastra), the art of earth and fire has been deeply rooted since ancient times, and thus the call to the vitality of these traditions was felt. Antonio Presti invited the best Italian and international ceramic artists to produce a work to be inserted into the gray wall, to bring the artists closer to the artisans who work in the area, finding a meeting point between the two approaches to artistic creation.

The wall fulfills its protective function while simultaneously becoming a work of art, admired and visited by all for its artistic value.
Initially titled The Wall of Life, during the 2015 restoration of the Fiumara d'Arte open-air museum, the Wall was dedicated to the new generations, becoming The Way of Beauty, a cultural heritage dedicated to an ethical commitment of true devotion to beauty.
