Lovers in particular used this area for a secret rendezvous, so that the park was popularly known as the "Allee of Sighs". In 1959 it was given the official name "Gustav-Clauss-Anlage". The “green lung” of St. Ingbert consists of a beautiful pond, many benches, relaxation areas and a large water playground. In the rear area of the Gustav Clauss facility there is a wet biotope, with information boards about its special flora and fauna to educate the population. The scenic backdrop of the park is often used for open-air events. The Gustav Clauss facility is constantly changing and is always worth a visit.
