Norröra is located in the northern part of the Stockholm archipelago, outside of Blidö. One way to reach the island is via the Östernäs pier. From there, the Vaxholmsbåten (waxholmsbolaget.se/) departs daily to Norröra throughout the summer. The island is best known as the filming location for Astrid Lindgren's popular television series "The Holiday on Saltkråkan." Fans of these stories will recognize many of the places.
