Cataratas do Reno

The Rhine Falls are an impressive natural spectacle, especially after the snow has melted. At 150 meters wide and 23 meters high, it is the largest waterfall in Europe. In summer, up to 600,000 liters per second flow down the Rhine Falls. The age is estimated at around 15,000 years.

Access to the north shore is free. Entry to the southern bank costs 5 francs (including entry to Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall and access to the viewing platforms).

On the rock trip No. 1 Yellow Line you can experience the Rhine Falls from a unique perspective.
The ship takes you to the heart of the Rhine Falls, the mighty central rock. During a 20-minute stop there you have the opportunity to climb the more than 100 steps to the 30-meter-high viewing platform. The climb is worth it, once you reach the top you are rewarded with a unique 360-degree view of the Rhine Falls.
On the return trip to the harbor there is another incomparable photo backdrop!
