The Hohwacht Bay and the region around Lake Selenter not only offer the typical Schleswig-Holstein Baltic Sea coastal landscape, the hinterland stands out with the foothills of Holstein Switzerland.

You can still find it in the bay from Blekendorf to Behrensdorf: the Baltic Sea romance that vacationers rave about again and again. The leisurely pace of life that distinguishes the Schleswig-Holsteiner, and the quiet, romantic bays surrounded by the reed oats, located directly on the sea. Many of the beaches have also preserved something very original.

The Baltic Sea is remarkably beautiful, e.g. with its steep coast and natural beach near Hubertsberg (Hohenfelde).
