Duinbeek is located outside the village of Oostkapelle in Zeeland, on the edge of the forest at the bottom of the dunes. There are three buildings on the site:
1 the main building; this is permanently inhabited.
2 the coachman's house, with stable and coach house; this is inhabited as a holiday home.
3 the gardener's house; this house is rented out as a holiday home. A large barn also belongs to the gardener's house.

Country estate Duinbeek has a history that goes back to the 14th century. The original fortress was destroyed during the siege of Middelburg in 1572 and in 1715 the current country estate was built on that site in classicist style. This architecture has been beautifully preserved in the structure and partly in details. The history is described in more detail on the site Country estates in the Netherlands.
