The "Brunnecker Brünndl" is a traditional healing spring near the Maria Brunneck pilgrimage church near Golling an der Salzach. The spring is located below the Lueg Pass in a tranquil, wooded setting and has been a destination for pilgrims and hikers for centuries. Its water has always been considered to have healing powers, which gives it a special spiritual significance. The legend of its origin tells of the Holy Family, who once rested at this spot and refreshed themselves at the spring.
