      A bridge crosses the Passer Gilfklamm, and there is a path that leads further into the gorge.
      Only about 5 minutes from the city center - and absolutely worth seeing. The path continues on / from the Passeier promenade ...
      Right next to the gorge, there are interesting figures to admire plants / mosses, e.g. Woodpecker, snake etc.!

          The Tappeinerweg is an approximately 6 km long promenade in the South Tyrolean town of Merano and the higher situated community Tyrol. The trail runs along the slope of the Küchelberg (380 m s.l.m.) from Gratsch in the west eastwards to the Zenoberg, where it ends at the Pulverturm. It is located about 100 m above the basin and has even little inclines. For long stretches the path offers a view over the Burggrafenamt. The Tappeinerweg offers a species-rich plantation with trees and shrubs, which consists mainly of Mediterranean vegetation.

            In 1880, the Merano physician Hans Prünster started to build the Gilf promenade, which got its name from the so-called Gilfklamm, the Passer gorge between the Zenoberg and Obermais. The promenade winds up under the Zenoburg, and then on to the Pulverturm - a section of the route with a great view of Meran's center, on the upper corn and on the wild waters of the Passer.
