The magnificent Berlin Cathedral is considered one of the most important Protestant churches in all of Germany. It stands on Museum Island, directly opposite the former City Palace. Two previous churches stood on this site, but they were demolished to make way for the magnificent building at the end of the 19th century. Despite its ancient appearance, the foundation stone of the cathedral was not laid until 1894.

Today, you can visit the cathedral daily. The view, which you can enjoy on the circular path around the dome, is particularly beautiful. Further information and admission prices can be found here: berlinerdom.de/tickets.
