This route starts in the Aachen city area – initially between houses, but soon you're immersed in greenery. The first one and a half kilometers are only slightly uphill. After that, the gradient increases slightly over the next 1.5 kilometers, fluctuating between 4 and 7% – never extreme, but consistently challenging.

The final stretch to the tri-border point is flatter again and invites you to coast. Shortly before the finish, you'll encounter a short gravel section, but this is easily rideable on a road bike.

Overall, a nice, moderate climb with a good flow and a special destination: the tri-border point, where Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands meet.
