The Geissbergtobel Vineyard has been restored
A group of six retirees has set itself the goal of restoring the old vineyard at the entrance to the Geissbergtobel through voluntary work. Under the patronage of the local community of Sevelen, Markus Bless, Peter Eugster, Karl Fischer, Arnold Freund, Franz Leuenberger, and Peter Trümpler began their project about a year ago and put in a great deal of work, especially at the beginning of this year. Around 1,300 hours of work later, the steep slope once again looks like a vineyard. A young one, though, with the first wine expected to be served at the end of 2016.
