Where the Sohl brothers meet
The Wilhelm Raabe Tower on the Großer Sohl in the Hils near Grünenplan is a memorial to the writer of the same name (1831 to 1910) - and has long been a popular tourist destination: anyone who climbs the 15-meter-high observation tower on one of the highest elevations in the Hils will be rewarded with a wonderful view of the Weser and Leinebergland, which, in good weather, extends as far as the Brocken.

Who suffers from fear of heights, should think twice about whether he goes up. The tower is only 15 meters high, but after the first 2 stairs, the steps are only round iron and the upper platform is quite narrow. Furthermore, you can see down through the gratings all the time.
