The Cafe Relhök has unfortunately been closed since 2018. The "Relhök" is named after the first owner of the restoration in Heidersdorf from around 1879 and operated until the 1960s. Its owner, farmer and innkeeper, was called Köhler. Relhök is the inverted name of the first owner. The former inn was not the now closed cafe, but house no. 86 in the direction of Olbernhau. Here at "Relhök" the European long-distance Saxon Uplands I-6 (cycle route on the Silberstraße) leads from Reinhardtsdorf-Schöna to Decin, with a total of 9 stages, over approx. 414 km, of which 244 km on the Saxon side and 170 km on the Bohemian side “Krušnohorská magistrála” číslo (č.) 23 (“Ore Mountain Highway” cycle path number 23) leads on the second stage from Geising to Olbernhau. As of this year, the path in front of the Relhök has even been paved from the “Hand” hiking trail crossing to the upper village of Heidersdorf. A tour to Sayda, along the "Alte Heidersdorfer Straße" is worthwhile, you have about 8 km of views over the Ore Mountains to the Schwartenberg.
