A museum commemorating the German colonial period in Rwanda. It is named after Richard Kandt, the first German governor in Kigali.
The building dates from that time. Today's Kigali grew around this building. Photography is not allowed in the building itself.
The exhibition is thought-provoking, as it deals with a very dark spot in both German and European history.
