This beautiful garden became the property of the city of Hyères in 1868. It was designed by Olbius Hippolyte Antoine Riquier. With an area of 7 hectares, just a few minutes from the city center, this exceptional garden was a replica of the acclimatization garden of Paris.

During a shady walk, you can walk near the pond or waterfall, crossing small bridges and enjoying the fragrant flowerbeds.

In addition to the botanical garden, the park houses an exotic greenhouse with many tropical species, such as palm trees, bamboo, bananas, cacti, agaves, hibiscus, etc. Also, a small zoo and even peacocks that move freely in the park can be found there.
