    The Baumgartenschneid is located east of Lake Tegernsee at 1,448 meters altitude in the Bavarian Prealps. Above is a summit cross, from which you have a great view of the Tegernsee and the surrounding mountains like the Wallberg, the Setzberg or the Kampen. In the north you can see with good visibility to Munich.

    Tip: the crossing from the Alpbachtal (Sagfleckl) past the Baumgartenalm to the summit and past the Riedersteinkircherl to the mountain inn Galaun. A wonderful, varied mountain hike in the Tegernsee mountains with fantastic views.
