The imposing size of the entire Nordkirchen Castle complex is breathtaking. Numerous paths run through the approximately 170-hectare park, some along open meadows and some through beautiful avenues. It is worth allowing a little more time to explore Nordkirchen Castle Park. Only then will the size of the park and its importance for the history of garden art in Europe become truly clear.

The Oranienburg pleasure palace was initially planned as an orangery, but was then expanded into a pleasure palace.
