The Matthew Watson General Store is the oldest store in the Yukon. Constructed during the gold rush, the two-part building was constructed in 1909 and 1910 by Conrad and Bennett, B.C. moved to Carcross. Only later was it combined into one building.
Today the 'Matthew Watson General Store', also known as the 'Pink Store', is open over the summer months.
