    Anna Sophie von Humbert from nearby Königsberg / Neumark, today Chojna, had the park laid out around 1850 to receive her husband, the local district administrator, after a long business trip "in the valley that created love". Two green ponds with figures of the gods Venus and Apollo form the heart of the moraine landscape directly on the river bank.
