Here is a kiosk with an eventful construction history.
In 1908, the population donated a mobile kiosk to the Royal Band 'De Eendracht'. At the request of the mayor, plans were drawn up in 1949 for a permanent kiosk at the head of the harbor that was filled in in 1971. A kiosk on Heereplein would disfigure the square. The municipality is responsible for the construction of the substructure. The construction is carried out by various associations from Raamsdonksveer. The kiosk was put into use on April 30, 1951. At the end of 2007, a large-scale renovation of the kiosk will start on the initiative of the Veers Erfgoed Foundation. On April 29, 2008, the kiosk will be festively put into use again, with the help of local entrepreneurs and organizations.
