Originally the place was a circular village, which can still be seen on the village green. After the fire in 1810, the place was expanded to the north and east. The houses that were spared in the fire were changed a lot, but the facades are still well preserved. At the beginning of the 19th century, a school was built in the middle of the village. There is still a field oven near the former school, although it was changed a lot during its existence.
The house Gabow 2 is one of the oldest houses in the village. It is a half-timbered house from the second quarter of the 19th century.
