The Bode can be very peaceful and quiet as well as exciting and sensational. In summer you can take a dip in flat spots and let the dogs drink or bathe. Basically, the Bode is beautiful everywhere.

The Bode comes close to the Teufelmauer here. Two legendary features of the Harz meet here. The Bode is a total of 169 km long. Their source streams arise on the slopes of the Brocken and unite at Königshütte. The Bode flows into the Saale near Nienburg.
