The Altglietzen village church is a neo-Romanesque church building in the Altglietzen district of the town of Bad Freienwalde in the Märkisch-Oderland district of Brandenburg.

The village church in Altglietzen leaves me somewhat ambivalent. The yellow brick building was erected between 1853 and 1855 on the site of a previous 17th century church. The church sits enthroned on a small hill above the old village green, the entrances are rather difficult to spot and the vegetation is rampant on the Kirchberg. The first trees have already reached the height of the roof, only the church tower, which was trimmed anyway during the restoration from 1950 to 1953, still looks out. In any case, I have the impression that the importance of the church community was greater in the past. At least the church building and the cast-iron grave cross of Pastor Ernst Ludwig Zimmermann (d. 1831) on the south side are on the list of monuments.
