A bridge takes you over the Loferbach, which has a fairly wide stream bed with scattered gravel islands. If you need a refreshment, you have good access to the water here.

A very beautiful piece of nature and river can be found if you follow the course of the Loferbach a little south of it instead of the main road from Reit im Winkl to Kössen (or vice versa). The path is designed for both hikers and cyclists.

The Loferbach has a wide stream bed in places, with large gravel islands. These places are also popular for swimming or picnicking in the warmer months. There is a particularly beautiful view from the two bridges (near Blindau and at the western end of Reit im Winkl).

The path leads partly through the forest, partly across meadows.

For those who don't just want to travel near Reit im Winkl: East of Reit im Winkl the path continues along the Loferbach (parallel to the main road to Ruhpolding) to Seegatterl and Weitsee.
