    The landmark of the place, visible from afar, is the water tower in the southeast on a small elevation. The first plans for the creation of a central water supply began in 1925. The water should be taken from the "Springquelle", which is near the later water tower at the intersection of the streets "Deiweg" and "Am Spring". The construction work for the aqueduct and the water tower began in spring 1928 and was completed in November 1928.
