This beautiful wooden bridge with the number 38 in the Wikipedia list leads the Gundlachs Twiete over the Alster to the Alster hiking trail.
A list of Alster bridges from Wikipedia shows all the bridges that lead over the Alster.
The sections of the lower Alster called the "Little Alster" or "Alsterfleet" are included here as a natural part of the river. In the historical course of the Alster, today the Mönkedamm and Nikolaifleet, there are also the Altenwallbrücke, Mühlenbrücke, Trostbrücke, Nikolaibrücke, Reimersbrücke, Holzbrücke and Hohe Brücke. There are 18 bridges in the upper reaches of the Alster in Schleswig-Holstein and 56 in Hamburg.

With a total of 2,500 bridges, Hamburg is the city with the most bridges in Europe and clearly overshadows Venice, which has around 400 bridges and thus only comes fifth in the ranking.
