The village already existed in the seventh century, in the year 823 it belonged to the Abbey of Saint-Riquier. The church, Eglise du Saint-Esprit, was built in the years 1851 - 1852 by contractor M. Sagnier, the design was by architect Philippe Sannier. The year 1850 is written on the bell tower.
