The Waldgaststätte Plantage in Freising has a beautiful beer garden. It lies in the shadow of huge oaks and beeches in the Freisinger state forest, on the northern edge of the city of Freising. The main building, where today the restaurant is located, has existed for over 125 years and was once the meeting place of the electoral hunters, who enjoyed a beer together after the hunt.
