    The panoramic hiking trail includes the Eifel view of the Mausauel with the Obermaulbach forest chapel. The chapel is located above the Obermaubach reservoir at approximately 250 m above sea level and offers a northwesterly view beyond the Obermaubach reservoir to the northernmost hills of the Northern Eifel before it merges into the Jülich-Zülpicher Börde.
    The forest chapel was built by members of the "Obermaubach Working Group" between December 1994 and May 1996.

        This Eifel view of the Mausauel, above the Obermaubach reservoir, is at an altitude of 250 m above sea level. NN and offers you a north (west) view over the reservoir to the last hills of the North Eifel before the transition to the Jülich-Zülpicher Börde.

        The forest chapel was built by members of the "Working Group Obermaubach" between December 1994 and May 1996.

        You can experience the Eifel view "Waldkapelle" on a hike on the rock passage or by mountain bike on MTB tour C, Seeblick (rureifel-tourismus.de/a-eifel-blick-waldkapelle).
