Ever wanted to know why the river is so important to flora and fauna? We clarify.
On more than 100m ² of exhibition space visitors will get an overview of the large protected areas of Brandenburg and especially about the Westhavelland Nature Park, whose landscape is shaped like no other by the annual large bird migration in spring and autumn and by the Havel itself. One or the other bird can be met in person. In the visitor center you can learn about river meadows and river restoration, fishing and fishing, migratory birds and train times, churches and barges.
