With picnic table and trash can perfect for a break overlooking the castle Miinzenberg. Alternatively, with a blanket in the meadow overlooking Muschenheim. At the table it can get very cold, it is not protected from the wind at all. If it gets too cold, sit down on the bench hidden behind the bushes and look at the megalithic tomb. There it is much sheltered from the wind.

The megalithic grave Heiliger Stein was built around 5000 years ago as a burial site in the Neolithic period. The 6-7 ton cover plates were quarried in Münzenberg, around 2 km away, and probably transported by sledge or roller to the Wetterbergskopf, 33 m above the Wettertal. In clear weather, there is a beautiful view as far as the Feldberg and Hoherodskopf.
