The Wittdüner Chapel was built in 1903 as a brick building in the neo-Gothic style by businessmen from Wittdün on a sandy path for guests of the up-and-coming seaside resort. There was an identical Catholic sister church.
From the outside, the typical style of public Prussian buildings from the turn of the century can be clearly seen. The interior is dominated by wood tones and white plaster with red brick bands. The wood-clad ceiling with its high-quality but reserved decoration and the large round arch that separates the main nave from the transept are distinctive.
In the summer there is an evening blessing on Fridays at 7 p.m.
