    The special thing about the building is its creation. Around fifty artisans from Europe, Japan and the United States had built the bridge in the summer using traditional tools and handicraft techniques, without using machines, electricity or modern technology. The basis was a cooperation between the Hanseatic City and the association Kesurokai e.V. to preserve traditional handicraft techniques.
