Not far from Rhodes Town, between Kalithea and Faliraki, are the thermal baths of Kalithea. The small coastal town in the northeast of the island was already visited by many guests in former times, because of the thermal baths. In the 1920s, the Italians built the buildings in the Oriental style, which were destroyed by bombing during the Second World War. Reconstruction was completed in 2007, giving the thermal baths of Kalithea a new lease of life and attracting many visitors each year.

However, when we visited in the late 90s there was no admission charge!
