The Zeemanskerk in Oudeschild was built in 1650. The church was primarily for sailors who attended Sunday services. Among them the well-known Dutch naval hero Michiel de Ruyter with his family. The Zeemanskerk or "Reformed Church" is a 17th-century church building at Trompstraat 60 in Oudeschild on Texel. The church can be recognized by its white plastered walls and green roof ridge.
The church was built between 1648 and 1650. The committed councilors financed the construction with an amount of 3,000 guilders. The church's pulpit dates from the time the church was built.
