The landmark is located 60 meters above sea level in the "Burgdorfer Aue". The sculpture is 2.80 m high and is made of larch wood.

The idea for this sculpture came about while looking out over the meadows and fields, with the gentle hum of the wind turbines in one's ears. It is intended to be a sculpture that speaks of the wind and the vastness of the landscape. The shape is reminiscent of a leaf that - ruffled by the wind - is still clinging to the tree.

The landmark is one of six landmarks that were erected along the Burgdorfer Aue from August 15, 2009 as part of the "Hannover Garden Region". They mark the gradient of the river in the Hannover region.
