Probably the most traditional theater in Berlin Mitte. This beautiful building was built by Oskar Kaufmann. Together with Erich Mendelsohn, Martin Punitzer, Harry Rosenthal and other architects, the Jewish architect is one of the pioneers of the new Modernism, the Bauhaus and the German Werkbund.

The Volksbühne unites theater, dance, art, and culture. You can visit many interesting demonstrations and events, the current program can be found here: volksbuehne.berlin/de
