The route from Igoumenitsa to Voutsaras is perfect for cyclists looking for a quiet yet challenging route. With an average gradient of 5%, you roll through beautiful mountain landscapes that offer new views at every bend. What's particularly nice is that there is little traffic here and only a few cars on the road, so you almost have the road to yourself.

If you already have some cycling experience, the entire route can easily be completed in one day. However, I took a break at a small rest area just before Voutsaras - perfect for stretching your legs and enjoying the fresh mountain air. If you want to take it easy, there is a campsite just before Voutsaras that is ideal for an overnight stay.

In Voutsaras itself you will find a few small shops where you can stock up on provisions. It is a nice end to the tour if you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the place after the exertion of the climbs. A really recommendable route for everyone who loves nature and peace and quiet and is not afraid of a few meters of altitude!
