A visit to the Waldsteinhaus is a great way to round off a day of hiking.
The inn has been renovated inside (summer 2024) and is now handicapped accessible. The cozy beer garden invites you to take a break. The new tenants offer delicious hearty food as well as coffee and cake. The prices are not exactly cheap, however.

If the Waldsteinhaus is on the way, it is a must to take a break, we were guests in this house on 11/13/22, nice service, huge portions at reasonable prices. simply recommended. There is parking on site so you have a good starting point for hiking.
We will be back

The Waldsteinhaus is a beautiful inn on the Waldstein with a cozy beer garden in front of the Waldsteinbühne. The menu changes weekly, mostly regional and hearty offer. You can also stay here. There are numerous hiking trails at the Waldsteinhaus, a beautiful circular route, making it an excellent starting point for hikes or a nice stop on the tour.
