    "Do the fairies live here? It wouldn't be surprising if they appeared here in the Schneifel between the trees.

    The hiking trail leads along winding paths deep into the highest forest in the North Eifel Nature Park - it seems enchanted and mystical. In summer, when the temperatures are high, it stays pleasantly cool in the shade of the trees. But even if the fairies don't show up, the Schneifel Moore Path isn't stingy with charms. It leads to the headwaters of the Alfbach, which is fed by dozens of rivulets, moors and ponds. Boardwalks lead through particularly sensitive areas in order to protect the flora and fauna. Rare plants like the bell heather or the forest lousewort are there to be discovered.

    About halfway, the forest backdrop opens up to the grandiose "Three Country View". The platform is a great place to relax and when visibility is good, you can see as far as the Islek, Ösling and High Fens mountain ranges.
