The bivouac is about 200 meters away from the forest path and can be reached via a small footpath. It is open to hikers from the beginning of April to the end of October.

The bivouac is part of the Forststeig.

There is this small mini hut (3 sleeps for 1-2 persons), a composting kloof, a rain catcher with hot water and a fire pit. You have to bring your own drinking water.
