The Museumshof Rahden was built here from 1962 to 1966 with the help of the Stadtsparkasse Rahden and the LWL. Its buildings, with the exception of the barn, were all on different farms in the present town of Rahden. They were demolished there, restored and rebuilt here.
The visitor will find a fully furnished farmstead with its diverse trimmings, as it looked in the 19th century.
The entire interior consists of original pieces and comes from the old office Rahden.

On the upper floor of the store and in the carriage reminder tools and equipment of the rural craft are shown, which belonged to the peasant life and economic area.
With great care, all devices were prepared for the flax processing; for this household trade was very important in Rahden until the middle of the last century. In the Lütken Hus are therefore permanent exhibitions for linen production and Rahdener costume to see.

Thus, the Museumshof fulfills the task of preserving the still closed peasant life and work world from the final forgetting and preserving their cultural assets.

Individual visitors: Tuesday to Saturday from 1 pm to 6 pm
Sunday from 10.00 - 18.00 clock
Group visitors: Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 6pm
