It starts at the parking lot at the Haus des Gastes in Wallgau (chargeable). From there you take a course for the idyllic Barmsee. Alternatively, you can also get on at Krottenkopfstraße in Krün.

If you are traveling by public transport, the ski and guest bus of the Alpenwelt Karwendel (lines 9608 and 9618) will take you to the start of the tour. After your sports program in the freezing cold winter air, you can warm up in one of the restaurants in Krün and Wallgau.
