The castle Boetzelaer in Kalkar-Appeldorn is one of the oldest strategic water castles on the Lower Rhine. For over five centuries, the former stately knight's fortress from the Middle Ages was the ancestral home of one of the most important aristocratic families on the Lower Rhine. Today, this historic monument has reopened after a long period of renovation. Well done Boetzelaer Castle!

The cake was delicious and the coffee with milk was amazing!!! Really nice and hot (it gets cold by itself😉) - you don't find that everywhere. We'd love to come back
