There are several legends about the Drakenhöhle. Apparently Siegfried is said to have defeated the dragon Fafnir here and then bathed in his blood. Whether that actually happened here in Marsberg remains to be seen - there are several caves in Germany that lay claim to this story. Anyway, maybe another dragon has just guarded a valuable treasure here. ;)
