        Simple baroque church from 1748, very picturesquely located - directly on the Muscat hiking trail and the Way of St. James (scallop shell diagonally opposite the entrance on a signpost mast). This parish church is also often used as a wedding chapel. A statue of St. Dionysius is on the right side altar.
        Many churches are named after St. Dionysius, as he is venerated as one of the 14 helpers in need. The helpers in need are worshipped as patron saints in the Catholic faith. But even with a famous French vineyard in Burgundy, the name Clos Saint-Denis on the Côte d'Or alludes to St. Dionysius. His name is associated with good wine, and not only in the Palatinate.”
