Naturfreundehaus Wehrhalden

All around, the moor areas convey an impression of the former wilderness nature of the Black Forest. Right next to the murmuring spring in the meadow slope lies the natural history museum of the Biological Station with its impressive collection of partly live animals. Passing the Naturfreundehaus a grass path leads in the direction of mountain forest. An older ski lift is reminiscent of long, snowy winters of earlier times.

At the source of the Murg

The association handed over the "Haus Wehrhalden" to a new owner in November 2018. The Eschbach family is thus continuing to run the former NaturFreundehaus as a self-catering house in the tried and tested way.
New name, Guesthouse Eschbach.
