The Gustot mill is the only survivor of the four mills in the village of Opprebais in the 19th century, namely two water mills (the seigneurial mill and the Charlet mill) and two windmills (the Gustot mill and the Gerondalle mill) .

The initial mill was built in 1826 by a certain Rosy: it was built of wood on an octagonal plinth made of bricks.

It was then rebuilt entirely in brick by millers, the Gustot brothers, on the basis of an authorization received on April 11, 1850.

Remained in activity until 1927, it then experienced decline and many degradations.

While only part of the tower remained, the mill was bought in 1960 and the new owner carried out its complete restoration: the pivoting cap and the wings were restored during this restoration which took place in 1961- 1962.

The Gustot mill and the site it occupies were bought in 1991 by the town of Incourt: the mill underwent a new restoration in 1995-1998 as part of a rural development operation.

At the beginning of January 2012, the mill was amputated by one of its wings by a storm. The shell is also damaged as well as some parts of the mechanism. It will be 15 months before the mill finds new galvanized steel wings from Holland.
